FREE SPIRIT FOLK was established in 2015 by two friends who may as well be sisters...

It all began in year 6 (2000) when both girls were waiting for their school bus, found common interests and the rest is history...

Fifteen years on and whilst sitting around drinking coffee (it was probably a jack daniels actually), Steph being a part time mother of one (the beautiful Indie Harlow) and Nicole always entertaining the thought of something more, the idea of having 'something to do on the side' started rolling around in their minds, and thus, free spirit folk was born. With the want for natural products that hold health and well-being characteristics, a boho and tranquil vibe, the girls went on the search to find the perfect matches! This also helped shaped the name of the business.

The first products which have been bought to the Free Spirit Folk range are the HIVE Australia Candles. Working closely with the Sydney manufacturer to bring the Illawarra and South Coast a taste of the amazing 100% bees wax candles with 100% organic cotton wicks that are blended with pure essenital oils. This venture has also introduced melts to our range... Who knows, from here, we may source gorgeous melt burners for you to purchase and burn your melts in!
